If you’re a fan of the popular CBS reality show like I am, then you’ll be glad to know that The Amazing Race game by Ubisoft for Nintendo Wii is out in stores today.

In The Amazing Race video game players will race each other across the globe in a quest to be the first to arrive at their final destination. Players can play in two-player cooperative matches or four-player competitive matches as they grab clues, choose transportation methods, and make their way to the pit stop where they will meet host, Phil Keoghan. Just like in the show, players will complete Detours, Road blocks, Fast Forwards, and Intersections as they race in exotic locations. Players will have to overcome obstacles as well such as traffic, delayed flights, and other problems that most contestants face on the show in order to reach their destinations and pit stops.

The game features the following key features:
•       Compete in 16 Different Types of Minigames as you make your way through exciting challenges
•       Choose from short, medium, or long races
•       Race in 84 unique locations, 28 cities, and 5 continents
•       Play against familiar duos like the Goths, the Cowboys, Students, and more
•       Experience random events, like flat tires and shortcuts that give teams an extra boost or obstacle

Host Phil Keoghan will be there waiting for you at the end of each leg of the race. He lends his voice to the game and will guide you through each challenge and its description

The Amazing Race has been a hit reality series since 2001, earning seven Emmy awards including seven Outstanding Reality-Competition Program awards. It airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on CBS. The video game is now available on Nintendo Wii.
