Last week, we were all teased with some sort of The World Ends With You announcement. A countdown warned us that some sort of official announcement would be coming this weekend, but a leak has reduced our wait time to zero. Who leaked this new information regarding The World Ends with You? Well, none other than Square Enix themselves!

Today, Square Enix posted a listing in their e-Shop for a The World Ends With You soundtrack. Though, instead of only posting the information to the soundtrack, the listing also stated that an iOS version of the title was incoming. You can see the listing here, even though the iOS information has since been removed.

I don’t think many people expected an iOS version of The World Ends With You, but I guess we’ll take what we can get. The countdown still has a little while until it diminishes, so we have to wait until then to get an official announcement. It’s kinda interesting to see where Square Enix will go with this one.
