I’m sure Pokéfans couldn’t be happier with this upcoming October. On the seventh day of the month, we’ve received word that there’ll be three Pokémon games: Pokémon White 2, Pokémon Black 2, and Pokémon: Dream Radar.
In Pokémon White 2 and Pokémon Black 2, players will be brought back to the Unova Region after a period of two years. Old friends Bianca, now assistant to Professor Juniper, and Cheren, now a Gym Leader and teacher, will return as well as a few new features:
- Players can catch older-generation Pokémon right from the start of the game.
- The addition of a new city called Virbank City.
- Pokéstar Studios- A new addition in Virbank City where players can actually craft a movie starring them and their Pokémon. When it premieres at an in-game theater, audiences will give it a rating based on certain conditions and aspects.
Pokémon: Dream Radar will be a downloadable 3DS title from the eShop that allows players to catch Pokémon using the 3DS camera, motion control, and augmented-reality tech. For some added incentive, you can find some rare Pokémon in this game too and they can be transferred over into Black 2 and White 2.
Also soon-to-be downloadable is the Pokédex 3D Pro, an enhanced version of the original Pokédex 3D which includes more information on all Pokémon.
Mark your calendars, Pokéfans. October 7th, 2012 is the day when all three become available. Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 will be available for Nintendo DS (with 2D play on the 3DS).
