Silent Hill has been experiencing some pretty major issues which have rendered the title difficult to play. Laggy frame rate and audio synch issues have sent players into turmoil as they wait their impending doom. Konami had been planning to release a patch on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 which would fix said issues, but it looks like they will only be fixing it on the PS3.

Yesterday, Konami announced that they have deployed a patch for Silent Hill HD Collection on the PS3, and that it will fix some frame rate issues, as well as audio synching. Yes, finally the characters will actually look like they are saying what they are actually saying! They also went ahead and said that due to technical issues and lack of resources, they will not be patching the Xbox 360 version of the game. But don’t worry, they apologized to Xbox 360 users who are still experiencing these issues.

Wait to drop the ball on this one, Konami.
