Oh wow, it has been forever since I’ve written one of these up. Welcome to the GU monthly preview (unintentional rhyme). With Fall right around the corner, gaming’s best season is almost upon us. The first month of the official Fall season, September, is looking to kick it off quite nicely. Let’s take a look at what we can expect this month:

September 1st:

Laugh Factory App (PSN)

September 4th:

Zen Pinball 2 (PS3, PSVita)

September 7th:

Mark of the Ninja (360)

September 11th:

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (PS3, Xbox 360) – As a fighting fan, not much gets my blood pumping more than badass Tekken Fights. The sequel to the cult hit Tekken Tag Tournament, this one looks to bring exactly that. It boasts the biggest cast of any Tekken game, with some brand new characters, including Angel. Addition features like Combots and custom soundtracks are also a nice treat. This game is sure to have everything any Tekken fan could want.

Battlefield 3 Premium Edition (PS3, 360)

Finding Nemo: Escape to the Big Blue (DS, 3DS)

NBA Baller Beats (360)

NHL 13 (PS3, 360)

September 12th:

Double Dragon: Neon (PSN, 360)

September 16th:

Kirby Dream Collection (Wii)

September 18th:

Borderlands 2 (PS3, 360, PC) – The champion of co-op is back. Everything leading up to this release has gave the impression that Borderlands 2 will be nothing short of amazing. The new classes, the new weapons, the awesome co-op experiences (sobriety optional), all come together to make my most anticipated game of the year. Let the looting begin!

Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collection (PS3, 360)

End of Nation (PC)

F1 2012 (PS3, 360, PC)

Hotel Transylvania (DS, 3DS)

Jet Set Radio (PS3, 360, PC)

Kinect Nat Geo TV (360)

Kinect Sports Ultimate Collection (360)

September 25th:

Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit (PS3, 360) – Miss sidescrolling adventures a la Metroid? Sega has us covered. I’ve been following Hell Yeah! since it was first announced, and the game is shaping up to be something unique, off the wall and hilarious. Traversing through the colorful depiction of Hell, this dead rabbit must mercilessly kill everything in his path to reach his goals of salvation. I’m definitely looking forward to the over the top destruction.

LittleBigPlanet (PSVita)

Tokyo Jungle (PSVita)

One Piece: Pirate Warriors (PSN)

Thundercats (DS)

Wipeout 3 (360, Wii, 3DS)

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandora (PC)
