We all like to talk, apparently. Especially in the gaming community. Well, the rumors are out and it’s spreading like wildfire. It appears as though Half Life creators are developing an entirely new console.

The Verge reports that the rumored console is called “The Steam Box” but there has been no confirmation by Valve. Get this, the specs of “The Steam Box” are quite shocking, in fact. These specs might rival those of the current, maybe even next gen consoles, given that they’re true.
The controller is supposed to be interchangeable to adapt to different types of gameplay. Dont’ believe me? Last year, Valve filed a patent for this device:

Now, if all of these rumors turn out to be true, we could be seeing a big change in video games sooner than we expected. Could PC gaming become more affordable? Or will the beauty and flexibility of PC gaming come to a console based system? Could this be the nuclear bomb to end the console wars? Only time will tell. Stay tuned for more details!
