I love Prince of Persia, do you? You may be excited to hear that there is a Prince of Persia reboot coming. No not a cel-shaded mess on the Xbox 360, but a real reboot of the series set to take place in the modern world. What proof do we have? This screenshot, right here:

Stemming from the official Prince of Persia forum, this image is sparking controversy all over the gaming world. Is it real? The game is rumored to have the code name “Prince of Persia Zero 2″ which is a resurfacing of a previously canned Prince of Persia project “Prince of Persia Zero” which was a series reboot.

A user from NeoGaf described the game as “Meant to be a new IP that meets God of War and Shadow of the Colossus”.
