Oh Rare, I remember when you actually used to make awesome games. Or I at least remember when you used to make awesome Banjo Kazooie games that would make my childhood shine with the intensity of 500 suns. Ever since Microsoft devoured Rare, Banjo Kazooie has just about died. I thought there was no going back, but Nintendo might have a little bit more to say.
An anonymous tipster told Zeldainformer that Nintendo might be negotiating with Microsoft to gain the rights to Rare. While Rare has a bunch of good franchises, their main goal seems to be to gain the developing and publishing rights to Banjo Kazooie. Banjo Kazooie has always been seen as more of a Nintendo franchise, so I can say that if this ends up being true, and going through, I will be a very happy camper. Oh, to see Kazooie’s sassy face again on a Nintendo console, it would be like a dream come true.
Take this with a grain of salt, considering it was given from an Anonymous tip. Wouldn’t it be amazing if Nintendo got Rare back, though? A kid can dream, I guess.
