Resident Evil: Revelations was received very well by the gaming community. I was very skeptical at first, considering even Resident Evil 5 wasn’t that good, but Capcom definitely delivered with Revelations. That being said, it looks like Capcom may be holding some information back regarding another Resident Evil on the Nintendo 3DS.

Digital Spy was one of the first to publish a report on the subject. The title, which Capcom has not commented on, is rumored to be called “Resident Evil: Degeneration – Damnation – Downfall”, and was supposed to be revealed around the end of this year. The game would take place in the time between Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6, so basically it would serve as a gap between Capcom’s most previous, and upcoming Resident Evil titles.

The information has since been taken down from Digital Spy, so obviously someone didn’t want them to share that information with us. I doubt Capcom will comment on speculation, so I guess we will just have to wait and see what they have in store. We will most likely hear of this development at E3 this year.
