Persona has been getting a lot of press lately. Whether it’s the critically acclaimed Persona 4 Arena, or the upcoming Persona 4: Golden on the Playstation Vita, Persona fans have a lot to be excited about. As if that wasn’t enough, we are happy to report that a fifth installment of the legendary anime-style JRPG is coming for sure, and soon. Yes, Persona 5 is coming soon.
Andriasang translated a recent issue of Famitsu which detailed that the game is indeed in development. The magazine interviewed Team Persona’s Katsura Hashino. In the interview, he detailed that the game is well underway.
He also confirmed that the famous art style isn’t going anywhere, because Shigenori Soejima, the art director of Persona 3 and Persona 4 is on the team.
