Since 1988, Nintendo Power magazine has been one of the top sources for gaming news. I used to be subscribed to the magazine, and I always found the contento to be quite interesting. After 25 years of fantastic service, word around the industry is that Nintendo won’t be renewing their contract with Future Publishing. This means that Nintendo Power won’t be continued anymore. This is some pretty sad news for everyone around the industry.
As far as the writers at the magazine go, they will be transferred to other magazine positions at Future Publishing. As for the last issue of Nintendo Power, it’s sure to be a doozie. It will definitely be one that everyone should pick up. Well, looks like everyone is going to start reading Gameinformer!
