Was Slender just a little bit too scary for you? I know it was pretty damn scary for me, even though I really just wanted to give Slenderman a giant hug. The whole time I played Slender I kept thinking to myself “I wish I could bring my friends along with me on this epic journey to find these little notes. That would make it so much more fun!”. Someone must have heard my wishes, because a new source mod will allow you to go against Slenderman with your friends.
“Players must work together to collect a certain amount of creepy dolls all while trying to avoid the abomination that is the Slenderman. The kick? No weapons.”
The game will be a little bit different than the aforementioned Slender, but the concept should be similar. Instead of collecting notes, you have to collect dolls. Instead of going in alone, you can bring your friends. On top of that, the game will be developed using Valve’s Source engine, so we can expect some pretty exciting things.
The game will be titled Slender Source, and theres no information about when it will be released. I guess we will just have to wait in order to feel the joy of running through a forest with our friends while being chased by one of the internet’s most terrifying creatures. Oh boy, this should be fun.
