The latest installment in the Xbox 360 exclusive dance series has had more music announced for it, including tracks by Dev, Alexandra Stan, Daft Punk, and more. In addition to the more than forty tracks available on disc, nine authentically choreographed tracks have been added, including songs by Cupid, The Trammps, and more.

A major feature being added to the game is a Story Mode. In this campaign, players will take on the role of a Dance Central Intelligence agent made to travel back in time to thwart the evil Dr. Tan. Players will learn various iconic dance moves from decades past, including the Hustle, the Electric Slide, and more. Also included is the ability to play cooperatively with a friend. Dance crew Riptide is seen in game represented by members Bodie and Emilia.
