Here’s a bit of quick news for all you sports game fans. 2K Sports made the announcement today that, through an announcement with US Basketball, NBA 2K13 will feature both the 1992 Dream Team and the 2012 Men’s National Team.
The 1992 Dream Team is known as one of the greatest basketball teams ever put together, as it featured basketball superstars like Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, Magic Johnson, and others. The 2012 Men’s National Team is known as one of today’s greatest basketball teams, of which NBA 2K13 cover athlete Kevin Durant is a part of.

The fantasy matchup between the legendary 1992 ‘Dream Team’ and the 2012 USA Men’s national team has become one of the greatest sports debates of our time. In NBA 2K13, we’re giving fans the opportunity to play as two of the best teams ever assembled in sporting history, literally putting the debate right into their hands.

We are excited to partner with USA Basketball, and share in JAY Z’s enthusiasm in making this a reality in NBA 2K13.
NBA 2K13 is still slated for an October 2 US release and October 5 international release. The game will be available on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, and Wii U.
