Namco Bandai announced that they will be releasing a service to players of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 named World Tekken Federation. The service will allow users to create teams, track stats against others around the globe, compete, and discuss strategies with intricate detail.
Said Carlson Choi, Namco Bandai’s VP of marketing,
“World Tekken Federation is a premium service that aims to connect players to the TEKKEN worldwide community in a way never before seen with a fighting game said. Being able to unite the entire TEKKEN global community is an incredibly exciting initiative that will help extend the competitive nature of the series well past TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2’s launch date.”
There are two key components to World Tekken Federation:
First of all, players will be able to interact with others in a centralized community setting, a hub for all things Tekken. Players can participate in forum discussions, create teams, and track others through the leaderboards. Secondly comes the training aspect. Character stats will be provided to give ample info on each fighter. Players will also be able to view their individual player card to view their stats across all battles. Players will be able to take this knowledge to better themselves in their next journey into the ring.
World Tekken Federation provides fans with a constant connection to the world of Tekken through any online capable device. Sign up for exclusive achievements, community events, to participate in forum discussion, or analyze detailed player stats.
