Everyone who has waited  oh-so-patiently for the latest downloadable content for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World are now expected to suffer further. The DLC has missed its original release date of August 19th, 2012 by a few days.

In a statement made to Joystiq, Ubisoft has publicly acknowledged the past due date for the content, and confirmed the DLC will now be pushed to the fall of this year. Besides this statement no further explanation or specific release windows were given.

The new downloadable content will allow for online multiplayer and add the character of Wallace Wells. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World was developed by Ubisoft and released on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace in August of 2010. Stay tuned to GU for further updates.
