Remember this? I mean the “Earth” DLC, not the redone ending DLC. Well, it turns out that was actually a truth. BioWare is bringing the “Earth” DLC to you for free with the possibility of another batch of DLC for Mass Effect 3.
First, the Earth DLC. It’s multiplayer and it’s rumored to have a few maps packed with it: Vancouver, Rio, and London. It’s also said that there will be some new human classes as well: Paladin, Destroyer, Shadow, Fury, Slayer, and Demolisher. This one is stated for release on July 17.
That’s not all! From Joystiq, voice actor Anthony Skordi said that DLC for Mass Effect 3 called “Leviathan” is a definite. In this DLC, you take the role of a Reaper known as Leviathan who has been in exile for a decade for traitorous murder. From what I understand, this DLC will take place before the ending of the game because Mr. Shepard will be present. I haven’t seen a release date on this one.
On Saturday at the San Diego Comic-Con, BioWare will make official announcements regarding the DLC (most likely the Leviathan one).
So, what do you all think? I think the Earth DLC will be the more popular. Gamers love their multiplayer. Give us at Gaming Unwrapped your unbridled opinions on the DLC news.
