PS3 and PC gamers have been rather distraught when it comes to the Skyrim DLC titled Dawnguard. A mere month ago, Xbox 360 users gained access to the expansive DLC, but no word has really been spoken about when everyone else will be able to become vampire lords. Pete Hines took to Twitter 3 days ago to try and shed light on the dilemma.
His first Tweet read as follows..
We have not announced Dawnguard for any other platform, nor given a timeline for any such news. If we have news, I promise I’d tell you.
This was not met with very good feedback, and in replying to someones comment, he said…
@mito8485 I was simply stating that expecting/demanding something today is unfounded. Not that news is never coming.
Then finally, yesterday, he gave another tweet that, while still vague as hell, did include some sort of a time frame for an announcement. He said…
@eldarmark Just sit tight. We’ll have info soon.
Now, I realize that “soon” isn’t a very good time frame by any means, but I guess it is something. I really hope that Dawnguard isn’t cancelled on the PS3 and PC. The PS3 version has already taken so many hits as far as content goes, whether it be missing the 1.6 patch, or just generally running worse than any other version. Hopefully by soon Bethesda means within the next few days.
