Alright, so the headline may be a little bit misleading, but hear me out:
When you consider the lack of support that the eShop has seen over the past few weeks and months, any update at all could be considered huge.
Oh, Nintendo – I kid because I love.
The biggest update has to be the demo for Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. A new Kingdom Hearts game was announced when the 3DS was announced and fans of the franchise have been ravenous for information, clips, and screenshots since that time. I’d bet dollars to donuts that it’ll be the number one download from the eShop for the next few weeks.
The other new demo available for download is SEGA’s Rythm Thief & Emperor’s Treasure.
Marvel Pinball 3D is also available for download featuring original tables for favorites such as Iron Man and Captain America. It’s available now for $7.99.
Last but not least is Bomb Monkey, from Renegade Kid (the folks behind Mutant Mud), which is a puzzler game reminiscent of Lumines. You play a monkey that throws bombs to blow up blocks! What more do you need to know? Oh, right… it costs $4.99.
