FishLabs Entertainment has announced that an HD version of Galaxy on Fire 2 would be released for the PC.
The release will come in August of this year. There will be not only a boxed copy of the title, but you can also pick it up through digital distribution. The original version of Galaxy on Fire 2 was only available for mobile devices and Mac, so this might come as pleasant surprise to PC owners.
Michael Schade, CEO of FishLab Entertainment, had this to say about the upcoming PC release:
The PC release of Galaxy on Fire 2 Full HD is particularly special for us because we’ve all grown up playing the timeless sci-fi classics for countless hours on our PCs. Hence it feels just great to know that our flagship title will soon also be available on that platform, after it has already successfully set foot on iOS and Android in the past.
The HD release of Galaxy on Fire 2 will include the following:
- Around 100 space stations
- 30 upgradable ships
- Gameplay based around story, mission, and sandbox elements
- Trading systems using around 170 commodities
- English/German voiceover
- Full configurable controls
Galaxy on Fire 2 is an online shooter game that tells the story of Keith Maxwell, who is inadvertently sent 35 years in to the future in the far reaches of the galaxy. He must help to fight against a race of extraterrestrials known as the Voids who are threatening the galaxy.
Once again, the PC HD release will be available next month. The regular edition is still available for Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Blackberry Playbook, and various Android devices.
