Apparently that seems to be the case according to Dragon’s Dogma director Hideaki Itsuno.He’s expressed he wants more games in the series.
Itsuno told Famitsu that he would like to see more games in the Dragon’s Dogma line and that he already has plans for a sequel going at this moment. He also said that the world in Dragon’s Dogma is only about two-thirds of what he had fully planned for the game, so if a sequel happens, expect more development with the game world. However, it’s said Itsuno won’t go ahead with a sequel unless he has full fan support for the game.
