Techland seems to have put Dead Island: Riptide in the back seat lately. Ever since the title was announced at E3 2012, we haven’t gotten much new information about it. Instead, we have been getting more information about their newest hack n slash title, which is under the tentative name of Project Hell. Luckily, Techland realized this, and released a couple of screens from the sequel to Dead Island.

As you can probably tell, not much has changed in Riptide. There is still an island, zombies, and a lot of ass kicking. Though, there does seem to be a lot more rain. A fifth character is set to join the cast, and that seems to be one of the big changes that we know about so far. Details are still sparse on Dead Island: Riptide.

Dead Island: Riptide is still set for a 2013 release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
