For video game music enthusiasts such as myself, the news that composer Jesper Kyd will be attending PAX Prime is a real treat. Kyd composed the soundtracks to Assassin’s Creed, Hitman, and Borderlands.

The Panel that Jesper Kyd will be speaking at is entitled “Behind the Music of Blockbuster Video Games”. In addition to Kyd, three other of the industry’s best composers will be there: Michael McCann (Deus Ex: Human Revolution), Inon Zur (Fallout 3 and New Vegas), and Sam Hulick (Mass Effect 1-3).

The PAX Prime panel will take place Saturday, September 1st in the Kraken Theatre in Seattle.
