Tecmo Koei Europe has released new screenshots, shows the Chronicle Mode.

As of press time, not a whole lot is known of Chronicle Mode, though it has been reported as a free to roam element where you can interact with other characters and can unlock more playable characters. The mode will also feature co-op gameplay, both on and offline.

Dynasty Warriors is scheduled to be released in Japan on March 10, 2011,  March 22nd in North America, and available three days later in Europe on March 25th. The game is currently under development for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
