Starting from October 7 (the game’s launch day) to November 12, people who buy Pokemon White Version 2 or Pokemon Black Version 2
within that time frame will be able to obtain a new Mythical Pokemon: Genesect.
Genesect is a Pokemon that has been revitalized from the remains of a fossil around 300 million years old with Team Plasma responsible for its revival. Genesect will have access to a move that no other Pokemon knows called Techno Blast and will be able to adjust his power depending on the opponent. If you couldn’t tell from the pics of him, Genesect is also a Bug-Steel type.
To get Genesect, it’ll be quite simple: After purchasing your copy of either game, connect yourself to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and download the sucker. That’s all you have to do. Just make sure it’s within the time frame I listed above.
Pokemon Black Version 2 and Pokemon White Version 2 are available for pre-order right now at the retail price of $34.99. Both games will be sold on Nintendo DS, but will also be playable on the 3DS and 3DS XL.
