Since Borderlands 2 has gone gold, there is nothing else they can do to make the game any better. Well, the main game anyways. When the game went gold, Gearbox announced that they were going to get started on DLC, and it looks like they have been busy. Today, Gearbox announced that they are going to be releasing a season pass for Borderlands 2, and it will give you a pretty hefty discount on all of the games DLC.

Overall, the season pass will save you about 25% when you compare to buying each DLC pack individually. Considering the fact that this is Borderlands we are talking about, the DLC will be next to necessary, making this deal quite a good prospect. I know how poor all you gamers are, and 25% is a big discount.

While we still don’t know exactly what these DLC packs will contain, we do know that there will be 4, and they will all be out by June 2013. Until then, we just have to wait until we can get our greedy little hands on Borderlands 2 which hits shelves on September 18th.
