Battleblock Theater has been one of those games that we hear something about, then it seems to drift back into the darkness for a few months until we hear something again. Hopefully that is about to change. Allegedly, the game’s code is complete, so The Behemoth is going to be a little bit less stingy when it comes to details. Speaking of details, let me put a few numbers out there for you that come straight from The Behemoth themselves.
There will be over 200 characters to unlock, over 200 levels to play through, and over 10 “weapontools” to use. There will also be a full slate of online multiplayer modes, achievements and avatar awards to earn, and a “soundtrack created by well-known artists and members of our community (Newgrounds). In the end, it looks like there is going to be quite a lot of great content for gamers to thoroughly enjoy.
The Behemoth also released a new video titled “Ducks, Monsters, Menus, Oh My!”, which shows some animation and drawing being done. It’s a pretty interesting watch. If you want to check it out, go no further than the video below.
