No? No… That’s their name, Nnooo.
After much deliberation, Nintendo’s first approved developer for the Wii U is the illustrious Nnooo, an Australian team famous for Wii and smart phone titles. More specifically, a game simply called Pop.
The creative director of Nnooo, Nic Watt, excitedly speaks of this new team up:
“Thrilled to receive developer approval for this exciting new console. We’ve already had a quick play with the hardware and everyone in the studio is super impressed by the GamePad and the capabilities of the Wii U itself.”
Nnooo does have a few other upcoming games, though. Spirit Hunters Inc. is a 3DS AR game, and EscapeVektor is an upcoming 3DS and Vita title coming out this year. Watt also stated that there will be more information at Gamescom in August. I’m curious to know more.
Come on Ninty, lets see some AAA devs too.
